Event Overview

Join us for our monthly social dance event showcasing workshops followed by a vibrant social dance party. This month's event will focus on both West Coast Swing (WCS) & Lindy Hop. We have a great workshop day planned for you followed by a wonderful Swing Dance Party.
This WCS and Lindy Hop Mixer is always one of our favorite Rhythm Lounge events of the year. It is such a treat to bring these 2 social dances together to experience a magical afternoon and evening of dancing.

The Social dance party will be a fusion / mix of Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing with Motown, Soul. and Blues. You know it is going to be epic!

Please note that this event will take place in two locations that are .4 miles from one another.
PADanceSport Ballroom and Frances Mohler Dance.

These 2 locations are in walking distance, but we suggest driving to make sure classes start on time and as the path that is the shortest does not have a sidewalk the entire way.

• 3 - 3:45pm - WCS: Leader's Styling solo swing movement with Robbie Fraleigh @ FM
  

• 4 - 4:45pm - Lindy Hop - Close Embrace (Int+) with Hana & Aaron @ FM

• 4 - 4:45pm - WCS - Playful, funky moves to add to your WCS (Int) - Erica & Rachel @ PADS
  

• 4:45 - 5:30pm - WCS Steal Workshop with Rachel Phelps (Rivera) - @ PADS

• 4:45 - 5:30pm - Lindy Hop Flow & Connection (all levels above Beg) with Aaron & Hana @ FM
  (*ends on time - come to the dance at PADS afterwards)
  

• 5:30 - 8pm - Social dance mixer with DJs Keith Stremmel and Carla Crowen @PADanceSport

  • Special performances with JT Swing from DC and PA & Jazz Collective

  • "All Swing Jack Pot" Mix and Match Contest ($5 entry fee)
    Dance with a random partner to a variety of songs. Will include contemporary music, jazz music, and other fun selections. Think of this like an “Any-Swing Goes Cross-over contest”
